Overview
PS City was established in the year 1913. It consists of 04 police posts. In 1987 Namely Police choki No. 02 was established as Police Station B-Division, and Police Ckoki No. 03 was established as Police Station Civil Line. Rescue 15 has been established in the building of Police Choki No. 04.
The area of Model Police Station consists of 56 Blocks and 14 Colonies. Different castes (Rajpout, Sheikh, Qureshi, Sayyed, Saddozai, Chanidia, Baabar, Gujjar, Ansari, Khattak and Arrain etc) live in the area of Model Police Station City Dera Ghazi Khan. Population of Model Police Station City Dera Ghazi Khan is about 140000. National Bank Mian Branch, Block No. 02 is the important building in the area of the said MPS. In the South is the jurisdiction area of Police Station Civil Line, in the East Police Station B-Division.
Model Police station City Dera Ghazi khan is situated at Kangan Road about 1-1/2 kilo meter away from the District Police Headquarter. Earlier MPS City Dera Ghazi Khan was located in an old building and now has been shifted to newly constructed building.
Facilities
Facility for entertainment has been provided for the officials in model police station. The recreation room has been provided with furniture, color T.V set/DVD. Feature film on the positive role of police is also displayed on multimedia projector on Saturday night
